Our soon to be eight year old King Charles Cavalier spaniel has been enjoying raw wild for just over two years. He’s so excited about his meals. He spins and barks in anticipation. Of course we enhance his meal with organic vegetables, Alaskan fish oil, and organic bone broth we want our, furry family member to be with us as long as possible, but more importantly it’s the quality of life that matters the most! People who meet him think he is a puppy!
I am impressed with the quality of the meat. It's a little on the pricey side, but I don't care how much it costs. You can't put a price on a happy healthy dog. The reason I am only giving it 4 stars is because it's been a challenge transitioning my dog to it. She has a very sensitive stomach. I have been trying to mix a small amount with her current raw food and so far, she hardly eats it or she gets a very upset stomach. She is getting very bloated with trapped gas and has gotten, and is currently, very constipated. I ordered a probiotic paste and hope that helps her make the transition. I have been giving my roommates dog some and he seems to love it and has had zero GI issues so I know it's nothing related to the food or quality. I just hope with some more time and a good probiotic, I am successful with changing my dogs diet to Raw Wild.
This food is excellent quality and my dog absolutely loves it however, I find the prices extremely high!
My dad and I moved here from Canada where she was eating top quality raw food as well with in fact the same meats as this company has however In Canada I was only paying $60 Canadian for 12 pounds!
This is our first order. Our Airedale "Chase" devoured it! We wanted to try a new food since he is itching & licking just about everywhere. So hoping this will solve his skin discomfort thinking it may be a food sensitivity?
Crazy as he loves venison but he won't touch the food. Delivery and packing was excellent. Wish he was a fan of the food. Going to try fasting him and see if he will eat it then.
